My mom is my biggest inspiration. She is an amazing mom. I can joke around with her, and talk to her about anything. Even if the subject hurts my mom’s feelings, or she disagrees, I can still talk to her about it. My mom doesn’t get mad easy, and she never really gets mad. I look up to my mom because of this. When I someday become a mom I want to be trust worthy and unbreakable just like she is. I have a close relationship with my mom, and I am very thankful for that. I love talking to her just like I someday hope my kids will with me. She makes me feel up when I am down. This is only one of the many reasons I look up to my mom.
Not only does my mom understand and incredibly strong, she is outstanding at giving encouragement. My mom does not let you give up easy, she will do whatever it takes to keep you going. Once, I was at diving and I was scared to do my flip. I had done it many times before but for some reason I was horrified to do it. I knew I would have to do it sooner or later because my mom and my coach said that they would stay there until midnight if that is what it took. They didn’t have to though. All because of my mom, She kept me going. Finally I made a deal with my mom and my coach, if I did 10 front flips off the side, I promised to do one when I came back for the next practice later that week. The encouragement my mom gave me, pushing me when I thought I couldn’t do it, was absolutely a key to success.
Another reason my mom is my inspiration is because she knows who I am, and that is who she wants me to be. She has taught me very well to hang out with people who like me for who I am. Not for someone I am pretending to be. My mom and I both know very well who my best friend is. When my mom met her she knew she had done a spectacular job of teaching me how to be myself. My best friend and I have a lot in common, and she likes me for who I am. My mom is very good at teaching a lesson on who to hang out with when you are yourself, and at the same time not tell you who to be or who to hang out with.
During all of my life, my mom has taught me to be honest. When I tell a lie I go back and fix it. If I did something bad or got a bad grade, I tell my parents. This is because my mom has always taught me to be honest. Just another good reason that I look up to my mom. There is one more reason that I look up to my mom. (Many more than one but I am only going to tell you one more). My mom is honest. She tells me the truth if I am confused. Even if I have believed for years in something she will tell me the truth no matter how much it may hurt me. That is how I know my mom cares about me and appreciates honesty. I am thankful my mom has taught me to be honest because I know very well that adults and children truly appreciate honesty.
On through my life I will continue to remember that my mom is my inspiration. I will remember this because of the important lessons she has taught me. I know that no matter how old I get my mom will always be who I look up to. My mom cares about me and, that is why she teaches me these lessons. If I didn’t have my mom as my mom I would be missing out I just wouldn’t know it. This is why I look up to my mom. My mom is my biggest inspiration.
